About Event

Kick off the summer holidays with a humorous tale full of things that go burp in the night….

Gav does not believe in ghosts. He’s never seen one, and doesn’t think there are monsters under his bed either.

But he cannot get enough of the stories that give him the chills… stories that have been stuffed full of spooky creatures and supernatural beasts for as long as they have been shared. Expect things that glide, bite and chill you to your rattling bones! Old stories, new stories and true stories. There will be jumps and bumps along the way. Just know that when the whispering starts is when you might need to hold someone’s hand. Put on your brave face and start practicing pretending not to be scared. Don’t worry too much though. You will probably be alright…

“It’s quite astounding how entertaining, funny and enthralling Gav Cross is, no matter your age.” – Blue Sky Festival – Pound Arts

“Professional storyteller and comedy performer Gav Cross held the audience in the palm of his hands as he revealed the dark, nasty and dubious intent of the fairy-tales we’ve been told since we were tiny.” – Highlights Rural Touring Scheme

Tickets £5 per seat – you are welcome to have your child on your lap at no extra cost if they are small enough!

In association with Black Country Touring and Arts Council England. Tickets are charged to cover the cost of the performer fee and nothing else
